Where: Hartford, CT Deadline: Rolling Basis Approx. Hours: 16-25/Week
Purpose: Creation of unique and effective design resolutions, from concept to completion for several different markets, in a wide range of graphic applications such as collateral materials and brand recognition. Responsibilities:
Conceptualizing, drafting, designing, and producing a wide variety of marketing deliverables such as brochures and sell sheets, catalogs, web page content, sales and marketing presentations, and social media initiatives.
Working as a team to establish creative objectives, strategies, and goals on a product-by-product basis, develop conceptual approaches for new concepts and marketing campaigns.
Partner to deliver all aspects of design projects work; conception, layout and digital photography for print and web use.
Work closely with Marketing Firms to ensure timely and accurate execution of projects.
Proficiency with PC based InDesign, Illustrator, and PhotoShop.
Revise and refine layouts through multiple rounds of edits.
Maintain organizational structure of data in system.
Perform other duties as required and assigned by Manager.
Working towards a Bachelor or Master Degree in Graphic Design.
A creative mind with a highly-developed visual sense and receives and implements constructive criticism well.
Understanding of brand appropriate design styles and ability to evolve design standards as needed.
A high level of energy and confidence, and enjoy the creative process.
Strong art direction in photography, fluent with Photoshop including strong photo manipulation and image rendering skills.
Familiarity with shooting DSLR video and Adobe Premiere helpful.
Expertise in adobe creative suite (InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop).
Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Constant Contact).
Web design and video production capabilities helpful.
Clear communication and organization skills with strong attention to detail.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, copy writing experience.
Ability to work independently (i.e., takes initiative and works well with little supervision)
